Yes, and that's the point. MCPMail is infrastructure — we handle mailboxes, DNS, sending, receiving, and parsing. Your agent's reasoning comes from your Claude, GPT, or other AI subscription. We don't bundle AI credits because you already have them.
MCPMail is designed for transactional and relational email — business workflows with known or opted-in counterparties. We don't support bulk cold outreach. Accounts that generate spam complaints will be suspended.
That's what the approval queue is for. By default, every outbound message is held for human review. Even with auto-approve rules, messages to new recipients are always held. You're always in control.
Messages are stored encrypted at rest. We don't read, train on, or share your email content. Message data is deleted after your retention period expires. You can delete messages immediately via the API.
